Nintendo's highly anticipated remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is almost here, and fans can already lock in their preorders at a discount. The game officially launches on Nov. 5 for the Nintendo Switch 2, and early gameplay footage has the Zelda community buzzing with excitement.
### Physical Edition Discounted to $59.88
Preorders for both digital and physical copies are now available at Amazon. The digital version is priced at $59.99, while the physical edition — originally listed at $69.99 — has been reduced to $59.88. That's good news for collectors who prefer owning a physical copy of the game.
Amazon is also offering a preorder price guarantee, meaning if the price drops between the time you order and the time you're charged, you'll pay the lowest price available during that window.
### Special Packaging for the First Print Run
Nintendo has confirmed that the first print run of the physical edition will include special packaging featuring textured foil cover art — a detail that will appeal to collectors. The company is also releasing Legend of Zelda-themed hardware this fall to celebrate the franchise's 40th anniversary, including a special-edition Switch 2 console, a Pro Controller, and a carrying case, all launching Oct. 29.
### Why Some Players Are Exploring Account Options
As excitement builds ahead of launch, some fans are looking for ways to access the game and its content early or at a lower cost. Platforms like z2u.com have become a popular destination for gamers seeking The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Account options, including TLoZ: OoT Accounts for Sale. These listings can be appealing to players who want immediate access to digital content or who are exploring alternative ways to experience the game.
However, buyers should always exercise caution and verify seller credibility before making any purchase. For most players, official preorders through Amazon remain the safest and most straightforward option, especially with the preorder price guarantee in place.
